The restaurant occupies the area of the gardens originally planned to be a walled vegetable garden. 90 years later, adding a roof, the space was transformed into a leading Lancashire restaurant.
Head chef – Boyd Dalton-Kenny is the creative force behind our menus.
We are open for lunch Monday to Sunday 12:00pm to 2:30pm and for dinner Monday to Sunday 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

Diners can now relax over their meals in the conservatory, enjoy semi-private dining in the summer house – or even gather around the sink in the wash house, should they choose!
With prime farming land all around us and a host of specialist growers and producers making the most of it, we usually have access to plenty of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as quality meats and cheeses. So while we can’t guarantee that every ingredient we use was raised on our doorstep, we certainly do our best to bring you the cream of the local crop.
