The restaurant occupies the area of the gardens originally planned to be a walled vegetable garden. 90 years later, adding a roof, the space was transformed into a leading Lancashire restaurant.
Our opening times are:
Monday to Saturday – 12:00pm – 9:00pm
Sunday – 12:00pm to 8:00pm
Diners can now relax over their meals in the conservatory, enjoy semi-private dining in the summer house – or even gather around the sink in the wash house, should they choose!
With prime farming land all around us and a host of specialist growers and producers making the most of it, we usually have access to plenty of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as quality meats and cheeses. So while we can’t guarantee that every ingredient we use was raised on our doorstep, we certainly do our best to bring you the cream of the local crop.

The Walled Garden Restaurant offers guests the perfect setting, overlooking the gardens, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The Palazzo: The Perfect Location for Coffee, Cocktails, or Dining
Natural light floods the Palazzo, offering breathtaking views over the Pavilion Garden. This bright, airy space accommodates up to 60 guests, making it perfect for semi-private dinners, receptions, refreshment breakouts, or meetings. The Palazzo also boasts air conditioning and integrated sound and lighting systems, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience.
